The 1500sqm Komori stand will run under a ‘Connected Automation’ theme, and will be split into zones.

New in the commercial zone is the Lithrone G37P advance EX edition (GL-837P-A), which is a 37-inch, eight-colour, convertible perfecting offset press with H-UV L (LED) curing. The press can print an 8-up sheet, but compared to its B1 brothers it uses a 20 per cent smaller plate at 700 x 945mm, uses 34 per cent less power, and has a 39 per cent smaller footprint.

Komori will launch a new digital press, the J-Throne 29 and an LED UV inkjet digital press that will print 6000sph single sided and 3000sph perfecting. The press is essentially a Komori chassis with Komori’s own imaging technology. It will print at 1200dpi with run coated and uncoated paper, and with no pre-conditioning. It will be available next year.

The new packaging press is the Lithrone GX40 advance EX edition (GLX-740A+CC), which is a UV-equipped 40-inch seven-colour press that comes with inline double coater.

New on the press are Komori’s Super Short Makeready and Smart Color features, which the company says will said lower makeready waste and help solve print problems.

Komori’s K-Connect Pro digital workflow solutions will connect all presses on the stand at drupa in a Smart Factory layout.
