FESPA VIDEO: FUJIFILM LAUNCHES ACUITY HYBRID

Comments Comments

Fespa sees the launch of the Fujifilm Acuity Ultra Hybrid LED, which prints both roll-to-roll and flatbed and which Fujifilm says will become an industry workhorse, able to handle a vast range of work.

Fujifilm’s 500sqm stand consists of six display areas, and features the award-winning Acuity Ultra R2 roll fed printer in both 3m and 5m formats, together with the Acuity Prime L flatbed printer.

The innovative Acuity Ultra Hybrid LED had its technical preview in Berlin last year, and Fujifilm says this commercialised version has undergone many upgrades. It should be available in ANZ by the end of the year. It will print 150sqm an hour and has a maximum board size of 2.5 x 1.25m, with a maximum roll width of 2m.

Fujifilm went back to the drawing board for the last show and redefined a new blueprint for wide format printers. The result is the Fujifilm Acuity range, which the company says delivers unprecedented value, versatility and ease of use, and it says, sets a new benchmark for print ROI.

Watch Fujifilm ANZ general manager Troy Neighbour and large format manager Glenn Conyers tell Print21's Wayne Robinson why the imaging giant is putting so much investment into the large format sector.
