Stretch and limber up, test those Achilles tendons, jog on the spot and sign up to join this year’s PrintRun for fun and charity.

Put your best foot forward and meet up with industry colleagues on Sunday, 11 August to show the world a PrintRun can mean more than ink on paper.

The annual City2Surf in Sydney is one of the largest community fun runs in the world regularly attracting up to 80,000 serious runners, laid-back joggers, and relaxed walkers, as well as the guys in the gorilla suits, for the 14 kilometre trek from Hyde Park to Bondi Beach. You don’t have to be a serious runner – it’s a fun run and everyone gets to participate.

This time around, Print21 and printIQ are reviving the PrintRun to bring industry runners together and to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Wear the signature PrintRun t-shirt and be part of the fun. Everyone who raises over $50 for charity gets a free t-shirt. All proceeds go to the charity.

Go to the PrintRun City2Surf website and get on board: https://city2surf2019.everydayhero.com/au/the-printrun

Make sure you list your shirt size and Mick Rowan of printIQ will organise a t-shirt for you on the morning of the event.

There are many different running groups in the printing industry. Let’s know if you’re organising your own group and we’ll include your names in the roll of honour to be published after the event.

And remember, it’s a fun run, so if you’re not a serious athlete you’ll be in good company. We’ll meet at Hyde Park on the morning to hand out t-shirts and get into the PrintRun photo. Then it’s every man, woman and child for themselves.

Good luck.
