ALLPRINT INSTALLS AUSTRALIA'S FIRST KUDU

Comments Comments

Allprint Graphics has installed Australia’s first swissQprint Kudu, the flatbed 300sqm an hour print system which it ordered at Fespa last year, as the company transitions away from screen printing.

The new Kudu is the third swissQprint system that Allprint has installed in the past eight years, and will sit alongside the existing Impala and Nyala printers at its Rydalmere facility. It was supplied by Pozitive.

The Kudu operates on linear drives, and is engineered for 24/7 operation, delivering up to 304sqm per hour. It can be configured with up to ten colour channels, making it the most versatile in the swissQprint flatbed series, and comes with patented tip-switch vacuum system, and modular roll-to-roll add-on.

Grant Cunningham, managing director of Allprint, said, “We are familiar with swissQprint as we already have two of the machines. The new Kudu is fast, flexible and versatile, with extra ink channels. It will add an extra dimension to our business, especially as we transition away from screen printing.”

Phil Trumble, CEO of Pozitive said, “The Kudu has the same DNA as all other swissQprints, but has an extra speed boost, with an extra row of printheads. Allprint is an excellent business, I’m confident it will reap the benefits of the new Kudu.”
