Designed to shine a spotlight on the brightest up-and-coming talent across Australia’s print, paper, sign, display, publishing, packaging, and media sectors, the award will recognise technical excellence and creative vision, and also underscore the essential role emerging professionals play in shaping the industry’s future.

Open to apprentices, trainees, and early-career professionals, the Emerging Talent Award will be judged across excellence, innovation and leadership.

Entrants will be evaluated by a judging panel and the Visual Media Association board of directors.

The winner of the Emerging Talent Award will join the winner of the Women in Industry Award and receive an exclusive professional development experience in London, that will feature attendance to the Power of Print Conference, a tour of the Ricoh UK Experience Centre, showcasing the latest print technology and innovation, as well as industry engagement and introductions with leading organisations, including the Two Sides International Country Managers meeting, the BPIF (British Printing Industries Federation), the World Land Trust and other key industry bodies.

There will also be a tour of the UK print industry, connecting with leading professionals, and gaining insights into the future of print and visual media industry as well the opportunity to build an international network.
