Girls Who Print, a global non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing the careers and contributions of women in the printing and graphic communications industries, will unite industry professionals, students, and allies for a free virtual event on 13 November.

According to event organisers, the free virtual event is designed to “help women build their professional power, rule their space, and own their place in the future of print”.

Through education, mentorship, membership, empowering events, and career support for women at every stage of their professional journey, Girls Who Print aims to inspire leadership and strengthens the future of print with regional groups forming worldwide.

The program also features the annual Girls Who Print Awards and Women in Leadership Panel.

“On average, it takes women five years longer than men to move from entry level to management, and the advancement disparity widens from there,” said Deborah Corn, executive director of Girls Who Print.

“This event is a call to action to claim your territory and command your career by building the foundation, owning your accomplishments, and ruling your rise to power with confidence and purpose.”
