The centrepiece of the Mimaki stand was the new UCJV 330-160, the latest iteration of the UV LED printer series that was introduced six years ago, and now has some 700 units in Australia.

The UCJV300 Series is designed as a versatile inkjet printer family, having a combined function of both printing and cutting mounted with UV-curable ink. The Series is a high-spec model equipped with a five-layer print function in addition to UV-LED print and Print & Cut.

It is a versatile model widely supporting job by short delivery time to advertisement signs with leading design. The new 330 Series is 170 per cent faster than the preceding 300 Series. It can run as CMYK with double clear and double white. Print speed is between 30 and 45 square meters at near photographic quality. It also has XY inline slitters

Having won the “Best Roll-to-Roll Printer Less Than 170cm” award from the European Digital Press Association, 2024, the new UJV100-160Plus UV inherited the features of the UJV100-160, and this Plus model comes with three additional functions to expand the range of applications, and reduce running costs and improve work efficiency.

It has a new pull-back printing feature, which enables three-layer printing with combinations of white, colour and/or clear ink. With Rasterlink7’s new ink saving feature, you can reduce ink consumption while maintaining colour tones. In combination with the CG-AR Cutter, you can now cut directly from Rasterlink7 to the cutter without using FineCut.

Following Mimaki’s recent move into the DTF market, the company’s latest addition, the TxF300-75 joined the TxF150-75. At 80cm in width, both Mimaki DTF models are 20cm wider than the industry standard. This extra 80cm width is matched by the Adkins post-press powder shaker cure system, ensuring customers have a complete DTF solution that can print larger garments with less waste and quicker production times, allowing for a more cost-effective process.

Mimaki has also created its own range of water-based pigment inks (PHT50) especially for this solution. As of March 2023, these inks are Oeko-Tex Eco Passport certified, guaranteeing safety and environmental standards.
