MC for print's night of nights is Walkely-award winning journalist Pat Condren.

Andrew Barnett, ‘Barney’, as he is known to viewers, is the resident funny man on Sunday Night with Matty Johns and The Back Page.

He also co-hosted several Fox network hit shows with James ‘The Professor’ Rochford, including The Night Watchman on Fox Cricket, Narrow World of Sports on Fox League and Fox Footy, and wrote and performed on The Professor’s Farewell Tour and The Professor’s Second Year Syndrome.

Barnett has been performing stand-up since 2010, when he was a NSW finalist in Raw Comedy.

Since then, he has presented solo shows including Whys Man, The Funny One, and Confessions of a Hide and Seek Player, and performed sold-out shows at comedy clubs and festivals across Australia and New Zealand, including the Sydney Fringe, Spectrum Now and Sydney Comedy festivals.

“Andrew is described as warm, personable and hilarious, and widely acclaimed for his relaxed style, which belies a quick mind and razor-sharp wit. He will be a terrific addition to the program for the industry’s night of nights,” said Peter Clark, president of host organisation the Print and Visual Communications Association (PVCA).

Barnett will perform during the programme, which will also include a sumptuous dinner, and the presentation of print excellence and special recognition awards.

Bookings for the dinner are now open here.
