NSW Service Field Engineer

Pty Ltd, a market leading supplier to the Graphic Arts industry, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Field Service Engineer to join our growing New South Wales service division. Currie Group represents key industry brands such as HP Indigo, HP 3D, AB Graphics, OMET, Horizon, EFI, CRON, Scodix and other manufacturers. Our staff, support, equipment and associated consumable offerings provide a fully integrated print solution to hundreds of companies throughout Australia and New Zealand.

The Role

We are looking for an extremely motivated Field Service Engineer to carry out maintenance, repairs and installations on our range of capital equipment, primarily providing HP Indigo technical Support to customers within the NSW market. The role is mechanical repairs as well as basic electrical. The key areas are:

  • Installation and commissioning of capital equipment
  • Repairs and maintenance both mechanically and electrically to equipment installed across New South Wales and surrounding areas of Australia
  • Varied, challenging and interesting work

Your skill set

  • Previous industry experience in an operational/technical service role
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills
  • In depth understanding of print processes
  • Must be able to carry out mechanical repairs and basic electrical parts replacement
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Work well under pressure
  • Willing to travel interstate and overseas when required
  • Great communication skills, can listen as well as have the ability to establish and build both internal and external relationships
  • Disciplined approach to service reporting including service hours and parts usage
  • Ability to work within a team environment with minimal supervision
  • A current Australian driver's license
