New chapter: Kevin Slaven, CEO, Pegasus Media &  Logistics

Although previously operating separately, the businesses have been affiliated for several years delivering integrated design, production, logistics and technology solutions across key market segments. The $85m company is one of the biggest independent print businesses in the country.

The brand consolidation follows the recent appointment of new CEO, Kevin Slaven to the group. He says, “The consolidation of each brand within the AAB Group under one trading name of Pegasus Media & Logistics signifies a new chapter in our evolution.

“We are increasingly providing a broader spectrum of services creating greater synergies for our customers. Operating our various businesses under one trading name provides a united vision for our staff and allows us to address our customers evolving media and logistics needs.”

Pegasus Media & Logistics will continue to operate from its five-hectare site located in Blacktown, and its Digital Centre at Alexandria, which was the former home of SOS, and which AAB bought four years ago.

Sir Michael Bromley, chairman of AAB, said, “Our future lies in expanding our warehousing, fulfillment, and logistics capabilities to complement our advanced design and manufacturing capabilities. A single unified brand provides a platform for us to combine all our services and provide less touch points for our customers.”

Pegasus Print Group and SOS Print + Media are well established with respected reputations gained over several decades within the print industry. Other businesses within the AAB group include a strategic sourcing company, F&M Supplies, along with AB Warehousing & Logistics.
