Fantastic Stickers is offering its NRL merchandise licence rights for sale through an expressions of interest process, targeting established signage, print and graphics businesses.
The company said the licence, which has been extended to the end of the 2028 NRL season, now includes signage and wraps as consumer merchandise products, alongside its existing range of adhesive and non-adhesive products.
According to the company, the sale includes established sales and distribution channels, ready-to-sell stock, artwork files, website imagery and copy, and is intended as a turnkey addition for an existing print or signage operation.
Brent Shire, director of Fantastic Stickers, said the business had spent years expanding the licence and its approved product categories.
“We have spent years growing this licence and broadening the approved product categories so they can integrate efficiently into an existing print or signage operation,” he said.
“The objective has been to create a straightforward, scalable opportunity with real value for a buyer that already understands production, fulfilment and the importance of official licensed products.”
Fantastic Stickers has held an official NRL merchandise licence since 2007. The company said the licence initially covered a limited sticker range before expanding to include a broader portfolio of merchandise products.
The company said the opportunity is aimed at buyers with the infrastructure and capital to develop the expanded product categories available under the current licence arrangements.
“We are looking for a straightforward transition to a buyer who can take these licence assets to the next stage of growth,” Shire said.
“Based on our assessment, a capital investment in the range of $300,000 to $400,000 would be appropriate for a purchaser seeking to realise the full potential of the opportunity.”
