The world’s biggest press manufacturer Heidelberg is running a webinar next week on print automation, based around its push-to-stop concept.

The webinar is slated for Thursday 20 May, at 5pm AEST (7pm in New Zealand). It will be in English. Click here to register.

Heidelberg says increasing efficiency and profit means consistent further development of the automation throughout a print shop’s production chain.

It says its Push to Stop is driving the systematic reduction of manual production steps, through the addition of control intelligence to the individual process and machines.

However, it says in reality the most important thing is not to look at production steps separately, but rather to integrate the constituent parts into one networked system.

In the free webinar, it shows examples of how Push to Stop works and what you need to know about it. With the Prinect workflow solution – the heart of Heidelberg’s approach to print shop networking – and the fully integrated printing presses and postpress machines, the webinar will show printers what fully automated production in industrial commercial printing looks like.
