Konica Minolta has officially released its next-generation AccurioPress C14010 and C12010 colour production presses, delivering high-speed performance, advanced automation and intelligent quality control to help Australian print businesses increase productivity and reduce manual intervention.
Designed for high-volume and high-value print environments, the AccurioPress C14010 and C12010 achieves print speeds of up to 140 pages per minute and 120 pages per minute respectively, while delivering consistent, high-quality output across a wide range of applications.
At the core of both systems is Konica Minolta’s latest intelligent automation technology, including the Intelligent Quality Optimiser IQ‑601, Automated Quality Adjustment (AQA), and Intelligent Media Sensors.
These features work together to minimise manual setup, support unattended operation, and ensure stable, repeatable print quality throughout production runs.
The Intelligent Media Sensors automatically detect paper type, weight, and size in real-time, enabling optimal print settings without operator input, which significantly reduces setup time, errors, and waste, while maintaining precise image positioning and front-to-back registration.
Both presses support an extensive range of media, from 52 gsm to 450 gsm, including envelopes, embossed stocks, polyester, and long sheet media, opening doors to diverse print applications.
The range of input and finishing options available add value to print organisations, while delivering on in-line automated finishing, making it ideal for premium applications – further expanding high value print offerings and helping businesses tap into new revenue streams.
For larger and more demanding projects, the systems accommodate long sheets up to 1300mm simplex and 900mm in auto duplex, providing the flexibility needed to meet customer application demands.
Whether it’s for banners, book covers, or specialty items, the AccurioPress C14010 and C12010 let customers rethink possibilities in production printing and explore additional opportunities for business growth.
The AccurioPress C14010 and C12010 are ideally suited to graphic arts environments, including commercial print service providers, offset and digital printers, and direct mail specialists.
They are also well suited to enterprise print rooms and in‑plant operations seeking high productivity with minimal operator intervention.
“The AccurioPress C14010 and C12010 are engineered to help print operators work smarter,” explained Grant Thomas, product marketing manager, Production Print at Konica Minolta Australia.
“By reducing manual adjustments and introducing advanced intelligent automation, these presses support unattended, uninterrupted printing, while delivering consistent, professional‑quality results at speed.
“Features such as the Intelligent Quality Optimiser, IQ-601 with inline spectrophotometer for precise colour profile creation, together with Intelligent Media Sensors ensure accurate colour control and reliable front‑to‑back registration with minimal user input. This allows print businesses to maintain high quality standards while improving efficiency and reducing waste.”
Additional automation capabilities, including Automated Quality Adjustment and Automatic Inspection Technology, are designed to maximise press uptime and minimise production disruptions. Together, these technologies help businesses meet tight deadlines, improve consistency, and increase overall throughput.
The AccurioPress C14010 and C12010 reinforce Konica Minolta’s commitment to supporting the digital transformation of its customers’ businesses.
By combining intelligent automation with a human‑centric partnership approach, Konica Minolta helps print organisations reduce touchpoints, improve productivity, and unlock new revenue opportunities through high‑value digital print.
“By simplifying workflows and reducing downtime, our customers can focus on creativity, innovation, and growth, while confidently expanding their service offerings,” Thomas concluded.
