Kodak has launched version 11.5 of its workflow software Prinergy, delivering significant improvements in Rules-Based Automation (RBA), integration with other software, and in the performance of specific tools and features.
Offering smart end-to-end automation, the Kodak Prinergy platform provides an integrated workflow solution that streamlines and optimises production across analogue and digital printing processes.
Version 11.5 features automation actions and troubleshooting enhancements for RBA, improved Kodak Prinergy Preps Imposition Software integration, performance improvements, and more convenient operation of the Virtual Proofing Software Plus (VPS+), as well as new profile options for the Preflight+ software.
The latest version also offers enhanced integration of the PrintLink software, which generates JDF (Job Definition Format) and PPF (Print Production Format) files, with press interfaces and cutting machines.
In addition, various improvements in version 11.5 provide increased security and a smoother overall user experience.
