Visitors to the printIQ stand saw its partnership with web-to-print developer Infigo in action, and its partnership with automated workflow solutions developer Cyan FX, and a new multi-point distribution feature on its software.

Rachel Davis, country manager ANZ for printIQ said, “Partnering with Infigo means our customers to be able to offer their customers an online solution, template solution, personalised, templated work in their labels, packaging and commercial print.

Davis said, “We're working closely with Infigo in the UK, developing a bi-directional solution, and we've seen quite a significant gap in that web-to-print solution space within the Australian, New Zealand market. We've been partnering with Infigo in the UK for about five years now, and it has started to bring its product into the ANZ market, which is an exciting development for local printers.”

The printIQ solution itself has just been updated to version 48.2, which has seen the introduction of a distribution feature, where you're printing multiple products shipping to multiple addresses, for instance for print jobs for chain stores. Davis said, “So it is a way to manage that in a nice user interface, with uploads and downloads through CSV, to get all that information into the system quickly.

Also on the stand was Cyan FX, and particularly its workflow solution. Davis said, “What we're finding is that a lot of customers want to break into that workflow automation, but it can be quite cost-prohibitive, especially. So, we've brought to the market its SAS-based workflow automation solution.

“The theme that we wanted to deliver at PacPrint, is all about partners and integration, and how print IQ recognises there's a gap, and partners for a solution.”

In July, printIQ will launch its next major upgrade, which will be version 49.
