A wide range of laminations, coatings, special effects, die cutting and gluing options is on display at the Allkotes stand B52, as well as the 3D Optix and Micromotion product, each exclusive to the company.

Darren Delaney GM, Allkotes:
wide product range on display

On stand is Darren Delaney, general manager at Allkotes, who pointed out the features of the  3D Optix and Micromotion products, also highlighting the company's new colour offerings in spot PearlKote and its the new Allkotes Gluing service, with folding and gluing capabilities.

"The idea of 3D Optix is to engage creative skills by combining a shape or pattern into the background of a design coupled with the power of print onto a paper substrate using conventional printing methods," he explained, pointing out its  "ability to shift colour or flip from colour to colour" in selected areas.

Descirbing the effects of the MicroKote, otherwise known as Micromotion, screen-printed finish, Delaney said it offers lustrous patterns which are "memorising and tactile".

"When looking at Micromotion just the change of an angle allows light to be reflected causing subtle changes to the pattern, this, in turn, creates the illusion of motion, hence Micromotion We have an extensive library of patterns that you can choose from or use a combination of patterns to create that really special piece. Micromotion also works incredibly well with our laminations and metalised film," he said.

Other eye-catching products on the stand included Mirra and Allkotes Product promo books, as well as samples of SpyKote, PhotoKote and Scratch n Scent Kote brightly displayed to easily catch the eye.

The evamped Built for Speed brochures, highlighting the use of ReflectaKote, Soft Metal, PlastaKote and SpotKote, are also available for visitors to take home.
