These included the newly-launched Mistral Easy Cleaning System (ECS), Cambium sleeve for plate mounting and the DLE elastomer sleeves and plates for direct laser engraving.

MD Mitch Mulligan, said: "The whole thing about Böttcher is we service the graphic arts community with all sorts of products. Basically, our hook line is 'Böttcher – we've got you covered'. Whether it's flexo or gravure or offset or letterpress packaging, we've got a solution based around that part of the market. Rollers chemistry, cleaning products are all at the heart of what we do, but really what we deliver is optimised products."

"We try and look at a business and work out what they're doing and how we can add value. And then we step back and say, 'well, change that, that and that'. And we can look at the outcomes. And if they measure up, then it's right but it's a process, and it's about customer engagement. It's about getting to know them, and then coming back to them with tailored solutions to things so it's not just a static approach.

"We've got new verticals that we've really worked on. Flexo and gravure is probably the emerging market and one of the strongest growth markets without a doubt in Australia, with flexo machine installations and upgrades increasing," he added.

Mulligan explained the four pillars’ of Böttcher’s business are highlighted on the stand, which covers carton packaging, printing with hybrid UV and Light Emitting Diode inks (HUV-LED), flexible packaging and commercial print.

Böttcher’s ECS system, which incorporates special polymers and additives in the rubber to reduce the adhesion for faster colour changes and cleaning for the short run packaging industry, now features washes with enhanced cleaning power thanks to new Mistral ECS, just launched at PacPrint.

Tailor-made solutions for flexographic and rotogravure printing are also on display, including the Cambium sleeves for plate mounting, now available internationally through the Böttcher Group, and the company’s DLE elastomer sleeves and plates for direct laser engraving, supported by a range of cleaning and maintenance solutions.

Böttcher’s flexible packaging range is complemented by its converting products, with washing and care products Velvet for use with water colours, and Solvent for solvent and UV inks rounding off the the BöttcherFlex portfolio.

The BöttcherTop 4k and Rainbow blanket technology, along with the BöttcherTop range of coating plate for water-based and UV varnishes, was highlighted by Mulligan on the stand.
