Esko launches new ArtPro + Digital

A visit to the Esko stand G40 at Pacprint on day one reveals a host of the latest innovations; the new ArtPro + Digital, the latest VDP enhancements in Automation Engine, and new developments in the AVT print inspection system.

Scott Thompson, Esko’s sales and marketing manager explained that the ArtPro+ has been upgraded to include the digital release, which debuts at PacPrint this week.

ArtPro+ Digital offers preflight, editing and quality assurance tools, and according to Thompson, makes incomig artwork files premium-print ready in "just a few clicks".

Elaborating on what visitors to the Esko stand are in store for, Thompson, says “We are showing our complete ecosystem of solutions here – everything from project management, design, pre press, automation engine and inspection systems on presses," he said, pointing out that how Esko uses automation for mundane repetitive tasks but also connecting all the steps, systems and different processes  that are required for that complete process, into one process, which he calls "one single source of truth." 

Thompson explained that one of the VDP enhancements in Automation Engine, is that it makes the integration of Variable Data Printing requirements as "easy as a few mouse clicks,” also pointing out the merits of the new AVT print inspection on-press colour and quality management system, which enhances the overall print environment by automating job setup and eliminating the need for manual intervention.

“With the latest developments to our web-based collaboration and automation software and our plate making and print inspection hardware, Pacprint provides the perfect opportunity for us to demonstrate how digitising, automating and connecting processes delivers significant efficiencies to businesses," he concluded.
