ASGA NSW Golf Day regos open
The Australian Sign and Graphics Association (Asga) has opened registrations for its annual NSW Sign & Print Golf Day, which will be held on 17 July at the Ryde-Parramatta Golf Club in Sydney.
The day has grown into a highly-anticipated event on the Sydney industry calendar, with its focus on friendly competition and networking.
This year, the format will be similar to previous events, with teams teeing off early for a full 18 holes of golf, played in the Ambrose style, which sees team members take turns to hit the ball, with each member starting from where the last ball landed.
Damian Nielsen, member and events manager for ASGA, said the format prioritises team enjoyment, no matter what the individual players’ skill levels, opening the field to golfing pros and novices alike.
“This is without a doubt one of Australia’s most beautiful courses, so the opportunity to play there is a treat in itself,” Nielsen said.
“Add in the chance to win a host of prizes from nearest the pin to the hotly contested Survival Ball, and of course the opportunity to catch up with industry friends and colleagues, and it’s a great day out.”
The day will conclude with lunch and drinks at the Club dining room.
“We all know that good business is built on good relationships, and that’s really what these events are about – making new connections and strengthening existing relationships,” Nielsen added.
“There’s always plenty of friendly competition over the 18 holes, with challenges along the way and prizes to vie for, but the most important part of the events is having the chance to strengthen old relationships, make some new connections, empathise over shared challenges, celebrate our achievements, and just chat about our industry.

“The day is a great chance to do just that, so I would encourage anyone who is looking to build their network – or just to have a great day out with industry peers – to register yourself, or get a team together with your colleagues or clients, to make the most of the opportunity.”
This year’s event is just one in the Association’s 2025 Sign & Print Golf Series, which is made possible by the generous support of industry-leading suppliers Graphic Art Mart, Mulfords, ORAFOL, Signarama, SMIB, Spicers and Bounce LED/LetterTech.
They are joined in Sydney by local sponsors Easy Signs, who is sponsoring lunch and drinks; Roland DG and Ball & Doggett, who are sponsoring novelty holes; and Bentleigh Group, who has also taken out an individual hole sponsorship.
The remaining Golf Day events are at the Brookwater Golf Course & Country Club in Brisbane, Queensland on 21 August; and the Victorian event in October.
“It’s fantastic to see these companies step up once again to support the industry in this way, sponsoring the entire national golf series for 2025. We couldn’t offer events like this without their generous support, and we thank them most sincerely,” Nielsen said.
“There are still some great sponsorships available for companies who are prepared to get behind this event, while enjoying an effective and affordable way to promote their business to industry professionals.”
