That range includes both foils, dies and its digital embellishing systems, and it wil launch Dream Composer, which is essentially a system to mock-up the look of embellishments on a product.

The new embossing dies come from its sister company H+M, while digital embellishment will be show in its DM Maxliner 3D system, manufactured by Steinemann, which Kurz claims is the biggest, fastest machine in this segment.

A new feature from Kurz will be Validate, which is a way of inserting hidden information into small labels.

Kurz has also been working on sustainability, and at drupa will show its new slimmer films, down from 12 micron to 10 or even six microns, which the company says means using between 17 per cent and 50 per cent less PET.

The company has also developed Recosys, for recycling PET, as yet that is only available in Germany.Digital embellishing: Kurz DM Maxliner
