FESPA TO RUN 8 WEEKS BEFORE DRUPA

Global wide format show Fespa will run next year in Amsterdam, just two months before the first drupa for eight years opens its doors in Dusseldorf.

The major wide-format exhibitors are likely to be at both, while smaller Fespa exhibitors have already made their choice, according to Fespa CEO Neil Felton who said, “80 per cent of Fespa exhibitors are not at drupa”.

Aussie and Kiwi sign, display, promotional products and garment printers will have to make a choice between going to Fespa, where they see the whole wide format world, or going to drupa where they will see the whole print industry, including the major wide format technology developers. Few, if any, will go to both.

Fespa is set to run in Amsterdam 19-22 March, while drupa opens down the road in Dusseldorf between 28 May and 7 June. Fespa 2023 which has just taken place in Munich attracted 500 exhibitors, drupa next year will have almost 2000, and will cover the entire print world including commercial, packaging, labels and wide format.

Fespa 2024 will take six halls at the RAI centre in Amsterdam, and will include Sportswear Pro, as well as Printeriors, and the World Wrap Masters.
