INDUSTRY GET-TOGETHER PLANNED FOR SYDNEY

Print industry associations LIA and Visual Connections are hosting an industry get-together later this month in Sydney, as print reconnects after the Covid years stopped networking events.

Taking place on Thursday 24 November at Sydney Rowing Club in Abbotsford, with its spectacular 180 degree water views, the event will have no speeches, announcement or formalities, but will include a three-course meal.

Mitch Mulligan, managing director of Böttcher and board member of Visual Connections and LIA, said, “The social event is aimed at bringing all in sundry together for a relaxing evening, with no agenda other than catching up with one and other.”

Organisers say it is an event at which wives, husbands and partners of print people will also be welcome, as well as print staff. The cost is $70, which includes the three-course meal, and there is a cash bar.
