Konica Minolta is inviting visitors to Labelexpo Europe to stop by its stand to “discover the future of label printing and its transformative potential for label production”.

Held at Fira Gran Via, Barcelona from 16-19 September, Labelexpo will see the company showcase its latest innovations in labels, packaging and embellishment, in collaboration with MGI Digital Technology, in Hall 5 Stand E61/5G60.

Featured systems include Konica Minolta’s AccurioLabel 230 and AccurioLabel 400, MGI’s JETvarnish 3D Web 400, and the GM DC350Mini. Konica Minolta will also demonstrate its AccurioPro Flux and AccurioPro Dashboard software.

The MGI JetVarnish 3D Web 400 is a digital embellishment solution for label printers and flexible packaging producers, offering a fully digital spot varnish and digital foiling solution.

It features print registration powered by an AI scanner, the ability to pre-coat wine labels inline, and production speeds of up to 42 metres per minute, making it a powerful tool for high-end label enhancement.

This solution is currently at the pre-launch stage in the Australian market, and Konica Minolta says it is actively evaluating the opportunity for a full launch in the ANZ region, based on market demand and customer feedback.

The AccurioLabel 230 is ideal for professional print providers looking to shift volumes from conventional presses to digital, or to complement existing digital workflows.

The AccurioLabel 400, printing at a resolution of 2400 × 1200 dpi, introduces Konica Minolta’s new white toner with over 70 per cent opacity, while maintaining the same reliability as its CMYK counterparts. Intelligent Quality Care technology ensures consistent colour throughout the print run.

Both machines support reduced run lengths, faster turnaround times, personalisation, versioning, and on-demand printing.

The GM DC350Mini is the most compact unit in GM’s label-finishing series, offering semi-rotary die cutting, lamination, and a pneumatic knife box with crush knives.

“Come and see the potential by joining us at Labelexpo 2025. At Konica Minolta, we understand that great things happen when the right ingredients come together,” said Toshi Uemura, executive officer and head of Industrial Print, Konica Minolta Europe.

“At the show, together with MGI Digital Technology, we will be presenting the next generation of digital systems that combine top-tier quality with flexibility and production efficiency – shaping the future of your label business.

“At our booth, it’s not just about machines – it’s about mindset: think innovatively, create individually, impress sustainability. Just like the perfect spice elevates a dish, our state-of-the-art digital printing solutions can transform a brand’s labels.”

As a special treat, Konica Minolta will also enable guests to collect an exclusive spice gift on its stand, which the company says symbolises the quality and innovation it brings to label printing.

Locally, James Rolland, Industrial Print product manager at Konica Minolta Australia, said, “Labelexpo Europe 2025 is an exciting opportunity for us to showcase how Konica Minolta is helping label converters and packaging producers transform their businesses.

“From automation and embellishment to sustainable production, our technologies are designed to give customers the flexibility, speed, and quality they need to stay ahead. This year, we’re bringing solutions that not only meet market demands but create entirely new possibilities for growth”.
