With printers from commercial, newspaper, display and packaging sectors in attendance, the evening saw several print industry associations join in, including Women in Print, the Print Museum, the Press Gang (ex newspaper people), Old Friends (retired printers), together with LIA and Visual Connections.

Angus Scott, president of LIA NSW said, “The aim was to gather together all elements of the industry for an evening to renew friendships and enjoy our trade.

“The print industry is full of terrific people who do amazing things, and we want to celebrate and share that. We will certainly be repeating the evening.”

A three course meal was followed by a prize draw, with bottles of French wine handed to several lucky winners, as well as a copy of James Cryer’s book.
