The group as a whole is aiming to raise $150,000, click here to donate.

Ward is aiming to swim 100 laps, which is five kilometres, at Collaroy Rockpool in Sydney on 22-23 March. He said, “Every donation, no matter the size, will contribute to mental health programmes that can make a difference in someone's life.”

Since he founded Head Above Water with the Swimathon six years ago, the group has raised a mighty $760,000, which has gone to mental fitness and suicide prevention programmes across the Northern Beaches of Sydney, and throughout Australia.

Ward said, “I really appreciate the support, and look forward to seeing you poolside on 22-23 March.”

Apart from donating, anyone can take part in the swim, either at Collaroy or any other location. The event runs from 9am Saturday 22 March to 9am Sunday 23 March, with participants setting their own targets.
