Women in Print Australia will once again host industry and member tables at the 2026 International Women’s Day lunches presented by UN Women Australia, bringing together women from across the print, signage, packaging and visual communications sectors to mark the global day of recognition and advocacy.
The events will take place simultaneously across Sydney and Melbourne, and also in Brisbane and Perth on Wednesday 4 March 2026
The national events, with the theme for 2026 of ‘Balance the Scales’, support UN Women Australia’s work advancing gender equality both locally and globally.
“Balance the Scales is a promise that every woman and girl – regardless of background or identity – should be safe, heard, and free to shape their own lives. Yet in 2026, too many across Australia and the world are still denied that fair go,” said Stephanie Gaddin, chair of Women in Print Australia.
“Discriminatory laws, policies, and practices persist. Gender-based violence remains widespread, and structural barriers block too many from seeking or receiving justice. These barriers are not inevitable. They are built – and they can be dismantled.
“Equality is not about advantage for some; it's about dignity, safety, and fairness for all. When women and girls stand equal, families are stronger, workplaces are fairer, communities thrive, and society becomes safer for everyone. This International Women’s Day let's Balance the Scales together.”
Gaddin added that the organisation’s continued participation reflects both solidarity and sector leadership.
“International Women’s Day is an important moment for our industry to pause and reflect on the role we each play in creating safer, fairer and more inclusive workplaces,” Gaddin continued.
“By hosting Women in Print tables at these events, we are creating space for connection, visibility and collective support – while backing the vital advocacy and programs led by UN Women Australia.”

Tickets are $205.00 plus GST per person and include a two-course lunch, a drink on arrival and a bottle of sparkling wine on the table.
