Konica Minolta farewells Sue Threlfo

Sue Threlfo has been farewelled by Konica Minolta at the show, with PacPrint marking the end of a  33-year career in the print industry.

Threlfo has spent her entire career in print, mainly in Australia, but also spending time in Singapore and the US. For the last five years she has been working with Konica Minolta, latterly as general manager production and industrial print.

Speaking at the surprise farewell event Threlfo said, “It has been an amazing career. It’s all about the people. I have loved almost every minute. I would like to say thank you to everyone.”

Presenting her with champagne and flowers, Konica Minolta managing director Yohei Konaka said, “I am already missing Sue. She has contributed a lot to Konica Minolta, but also the industry as a whole. We wish her all the best for the future.”

David Procter, chief operating officer of Konica Minolta said, “On behalf of the whole industry I say thank you. Sue has passion, energy, integrity and professionalism. She took relationships with customers to the next level.”

Threlfo is succeeded at Konica Minolta by Andrew Cocker, who is the new general manager, production and industrial print. Cocker was previously sales manager – production and industrial print at Konica Minolta Australia.
