The 17 June event will be the 13th time Frost has slept out overnight as part of the Vinnies initiative.

He said, “At this early stage it would be great to challenge fellow leaders of the industry to sign up and come and get a taste of sleeping rough, and to hear stories from those doing it tough.”

The issue is big for Frost as the founder of the company spent time homeless. Frost said, “Homelessness is an issue close to our heart at The Lamson Group, with our founder spending time on the streets as a young man. No one should have to live like that.

Print bosses can nominate themselves, and Frost said, “Any Print21 readers can also nominate their CEO, owner or MD via this link.

The Vinnies CEO Sleepout began as a local community venture in Sydney’s West in 2006. Founded by Bernard Fehon, the event has raised important funds for Vinnies Homeless Services across Australia and heightened awareness of homelessness.

Its goal is not just to service the homeless, but to bring about an end to homelessness.
