PRECISION FORME CUTTING AUCTIONS EQUIPMENT

Comments Comments

Precision Forme Cutting is auctioning off its equipment, after closing its doors last December. This follows on from the previous announcement last year that owner Alf Puglia will close the company upon his retirement.

Original heidelberg cylinder: just one of the items up for grabs

Puglia told Print21, “Anyone who knows the business knows that all my equipment is top notch, and much of it is less than two years old," and added that he always bought new machinery so that he knew he was getting "the good stuff".

Up for grabs are machines including: a Heidelberg Varimatrix 1050 die cutter, two Heidelberg Cylinders, two Lyon 1300 Clambshells, Jagenberg and Dick Moll folder gluers, a Lamina 1600 mounter, Perfecta 115 guillotine, three Minipak wrappers.

Puglia told Print21 that some of the best items up for auction include a shrink wrapper that is two and a half years old, a flow wrapper that is less than 12 months old, and three tape heads that he bought in the last 18 months.

Bidding is now open, and will close on Friday 17 March, with a viewing on Wednesday 15 March from 10am to 3pm at 129 Sussex Street, Pascoe Vale in Victoria.
