Agfa, a global leader in inkjet printing solutions, has secured a triple win at Printing United Alliance’s 2025 Pinnacle Product Awards.

The Pinnacle Product Awards celebrate outstanding products that drive advancements in quality, capability, and productivity within the printing industry.

Agfa’s Onset Panthera FB3216, Onset Panthera Autoloader, and Jeti Tauro Max Bots were each recognised for, according to the Alliance, their “outstanding innovation and impact in advancing print quality, automation, and productivity”.

“We are immensely proud to receive three Pinnacle Product awards,” said Arnaud Calleja, vice-president of digital printing solutions at Agfa.

“Having won these awards in the past, including its predecessor, the Product of the Year Award, this continued recognition is a testament to our commitment to innovation and excellence in inkjet printing.

“It also reinforces our mission to empower print service providers with cutting-edge print technology. We look forward to showcasing our now award-winning products at Printing United Expo 2025.”

Both the Onset Panthera with Autoloader and the Jeti Tauro with Load Max Bot and Flex Roll-to-Roll system will be demonstrated live at Printing United Expo 2025 in Orlando, 22–24 October.

About the winning Agfa products

Onset Panthera FB3216:

The Onset Panthera FB3216 is the latest addition to the Onset product line. It is a true flatbed press that is built for high volume and high-performance jobs, serving both the sign and display and packaging communities.

The company says the Panthera leaps further than its predecessors thanks to the integrated energy-efficient LED curing technology and outstanding gloss levels for a UV inkjet device, producing sellable production quality in 2-pass satin or 2-pass high gloss, both resulting in a productivity of 1514 m²/h (16,297 ft²/h) or 296 beds per hour.

Onset Panthera Autoloader:

The Panthera Autoloader is an advanced automation system that ensures the Panthera printer operates at its full potential, harnessing its high-speed capabilities.

By automating the substrate feeding and handling processes, the Autoloader, which matches the printer’s maximum speed, is said by the company to significantly reduce labour costs and enhance operational efficiency.

When combined with Max Bot robotic unloading, it becomes an ideal solution for high-volume print operations in the sign and display and packaging markets.

Jeti Tauro Max Bots:

Agfa has maximised the versatility and flexibility of its Jeti Tauro H3300 system through the addition of robotic media handling, which it said achieves ultimate production efficiency and automation.

The Jeti Tauro H3300 can be equipped with a single robot for loading or unloading media, or a dual robot system to completely automate printing operations.

The Max Bots can be combined with Agfa’s Max Flex RTR module for the utmost flexible automation for both rigid and roll substrates. The company said that with virtually no interruption, PSPs can easily switch between rigid and roll printing, ensuring the highest level of productivity.
