The Scholarship will provide up to six places for successful applicants to undergo training towards Level 1 HP Indigo 7X00 Series Operator Certification, with a September start date for the first training intake.

“These Scholarships give new operators the kind of formal training that can set them up for long-term success in print manufacturing,” said Stephanie Gaddin, chair, Women in Print.

“It is ideal for women or non-binary individuals who are looking to broaden their skill set, put some formal instruction around their on-the-job expertise, or for any industry newcomers who aspire to grow their own career by upskilling on what is arguably the world’s number one digital press.”

Gaddin said the association is especially focused on making sure regional applicants throw their hats in the ring. “Geography shouldn’t be a barrier to opportunity,” she said.

Training will be delivered by HP Digital Press experts at the Currie Group in-house training facility in Melbourne.

Applications for the Scholarship close Sunday 3 August at 10pm AEST. Click here to apply.
