Badger is the new head of Sales & Professional Services across both the Large Format Graphics and Technical Document Systems Sector within Oceania for CPP.

Craig Nethercott, managing director of CPP said, “Badger returns to Australia with 30 years of international and local printing industry experience within the large format digital printing sector, having started his career in product marketing, moving to pre-sales and post-sales support before heading off on his international assignment.

“I am confident that he will have a positive impact on the Oceania Print industry while supporting Canon’s growth strategy.”

Badger has been with CPP for 19 years, after beginning his career with local pioneering prepress outfit Show-Ads, before moving into the supply side as senior product manager for what was Océ, which was bought by Canon in 2010 for US$1bn, while Badger was product manager for Display Graphics.

He then moved to Océ headquarters in the Netherlands in 2017, becoming senior product manager for APAC before moving to Singapore two years ago to be business development director for the Asia Pacific.

As the international Product Manager, he spent the first half of his overseas assignment supporting the launch of the newly developed Colorado UVgel technology.
