BALL & DOGGETT LAUNCHES MIS FOR SME
PacPrint has seen Ball & Doggett launch the cloud-based Nubium MIS solution from eProductivity Software for small and medium sized print businesses.
Developed by eProductivity Software, the world’s biggest MIS developer for print and packaging, Nubium needs no hardware as it is cloud based, access is through a web browser. It is aimed at printers with turnovers of between $1m and $10m, and who may be operating in diverse fields, including commercial print, sign and display, labels and packaging.
Ball & Doggett says a major benefit for smaller print businesses of Nubium is the short implementation process, which it says should take no more than 18 hours, and is a fully guided process. Nick Benkovic, chief development officer at eProductivity Software, said, “Think of those ‘How To’ videos on youtube, except Nubium will instruct you what to do, how to do it, and then wait until you have done that step before moving onto the next one..”
Nubium has a solutions-based estimating tool, and says Daniel Aloi, regional director for APAC, it will integrate with other systems, naming Xero, Enfocus, Esko Automation,. Zapier and Quickbooks as among those programmes.
Rob Brussolo, sign, display and digital manager at Ball & Doggett, said, “Any printer only has to look at the most successful printers in ANZ to see what they have in common, and that is automation. Nubium automates a whole host of administrative functions, freeing up business to focus on sales and production, while reducing costs and improving efficiencies.”
Metro Print & Copy in Perth, a four-person printshop, has already implemented Nubium, Daniel Aloi said, “The owner says he has got two hours a day back, as Nubium is automating so many of his tasks.”
