Celmac has signed an exclusive agreement with Neolt Factory to distribute its Automatic Feeder and Stacker system, which was co-developed with HP as an attachment to its R series printers – R1000, R2000 and the new R530.

The system is specifically designed to reduce manual labour and streamline rigid panel handling, and according to Neolt, the fully automated system can integrate seamlessly into modern digital production environments.

The new system supports up to 40cm of material on both input and output tables and includes automatic height adjustment to maintain level operation throughout the job.

Both the feeder and stacker can be easily tailored to accommodate varying panel sizes, layouts, and throughput requirements.

The system also includes autonomous motion control to facilitate communication with connected devices, allowing it to operate seamlessly as part of the integrated print or finishing line.

“The goal with this system is to remove production bottlenecks, improve safety, and allow for unattended operation,” Ettore Briccoli Pontiggia, owner and international sales manager of Neolt, tells Print21.

“It is designed to meet the demands of modern production environments, while offering the flexibility to adapt the different equipment setups.

“We are pleased to partner with Celmac in the Australian market as they were workflow conscious and had the technical expertise, particularly for HP’s R series printers.”

Jonny Rumney and Matt Hall, NSW and Queensland state managers respectively at Celmac, put the Neolt System through its paces on the HP stand at Printing United, held back in 23-25 September in Orlando, and were impressed with the productivity, most notably with the integrated software and seamless operation with the HP R series printers.

"This is a real winner for print service providers as it more or less turns your large format flatbed printer into a photocopier – just load it up, hit print and walk away,” said Rumney.

“You can also do true ‘lights off printing’ overnight. The labour savings will be enormous.”

Wayne McIntyre, MD of Celmac, has confirmed with Print21 that the company plans to install Neolt’s system in Celmac’s Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane showrooms to allow customers to experience the efficiencies for themselves.

The plan is for the Neolt Automatic Feeder & Stacker to be paired with a HP R series printer in full production. It will also be paired with the iEcho Graphics Cutter for a complete workflow solution.

Further information on the planned demonstrations will come in the new year.
