drupa insights, a digital knowledge platform providing market and future analyses for the international print and packaging industry, has launched and is now available through a one-time free registration on the drupa website.
Developed in cooperation with Alliance Insights, the research division of Printing United Alliance, the platform offers analyses of technological developments, market changes and economic trends based on international studies and research relevant to the print and packaging sector.
At launch, the platform focuses on three areas identified as shaping the sector: the growing role of label and packaging printing, developments in AI and robotics, and increasing automation of production processes.
From Global Trends Report to ongoing digital format
The platform transforms the concept of the former Global Trends Report into an ongoing digital publishing format. Rather than a single annual report, drupa insights provides regularly updated content analysing industry developments as they emerge.
The initiative also forms part of the strategic repositioning of drupa 2028. As part of the trade fair’s LEARN thematic cluster, the platform aims to strengthen knowledge and analysis activities ahead of the event.
Collaboration with PRINTING United Alliance
The project builds on the existing collaboration between drupa and Printing United Alliance.
Sabine Geldermann, director drupa, Portfolio Print Technologies at Messe Düsseldorf, said, “Through drupa insights, we are pooling international expertise and creating a reliable foundation for market and future analyses. Our goal is to support companies in strategically navigating industry transformation.”
Nathan Safran, vice-president, Research at Alliance Insights, added, “We are pleased to collaborate with drupa on this new format, which provides deeper insights into industry developments and delivers practical decision-making guidance.”
The first content is available online, with access provided through free registration on the drupa website.
