In the Australia Day 2026 Honours List, the late Geoff Selig, former executive chairman of IVE Group, was recognised posthumously with the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his decades of service to community and charitable organisations.
Selig, who passed away in 2024, played a major role in the Australian print industry for over 40 years, culminating in the creation of IVE, its launch onto the ASX in December 2015, and its successful growth into the country’s premier marketing and communications business, and the nation’s biggest print operation.
Selig, together with his brother Paul, also a director of IVE, was a grandson of IVE Group founder, Oscar Selig.
“Today we remember and honour the life and legacy of Geoffrey Selig OAM. It is a fitting tribute to a life dedicated to giving back and making a genuine difference,” IVE said in a post following the Australia Day
“His connection to IVE spanned generations and reflected a deep commitment to people, progress and community. We are forever grateful for the role Geoff played in shaping IVE and for the causes he supported so passionately.
“We hope you’ll join us in raising a glass to Geoff and the legacy he left behind.”
