IVE Group, Koenig & Bauer and LIA Victoria are joining forces in October to showcase the very latest offset print technology in Melbourne.
IVE will open the doors of its state-of-the-art printing plant in Braeside for an LIA technical event, featuring live demonstrations of their brand-new Koenig & Bauer Rapida presses.
The lineup of equipment on show will comprise a Rapida 106X 10-colour commercial press with in-line coater, and a Rapida 106X 7-colour packaging press with two in-line coating devices.
The event will be attended by the IVE team including Matt Aitken, CEO; Shane Britten, executive general manager – Print and Jacpak; and Shaun Hodge, head of operations (Print VIC/CX and Data).
They will be joined by Koenig & Bauer Australia’s Graham Harris, CEO; and Rayne Simpson, sales manager – Australia and New Zealand, along with two special guests from Koenig & Bauer Germany – Markus Weiss, CEO Paper and Packaging, and Dirk Winkler, head of printing technology and product management, who will moderate the evening and present the presses.
Representing LIA Victoria will be Robyn Frampton, president; and Jaz Allen, vice-president, together with other committee members.
“We are truly honoured to have earned the trust of IVE Group in choosing to invest in the latest Koenig & Bauer technology,” said Weiss.
“Our full commitment is to support IVE in ensuring the success of these new installations. We look forward not only to celebrating this milestone, but also to building a strong and long-lasting partnership between our two companies and colleagues on both sides.”
According to Aitken, great print needs great technology.
“This is why we invested in Koenig & Bauer technology, so that we consistently deliver for our customers,” Aitken added.
“Hosting this showcase at our Braeside facility allows us to bring to life in a world-class facility a showcase of automation, innovation and increased productivity.”
LIA Victoria is also pleased to be partnering with IVE Group and Koenig & Bauer for the latest in its series of technical events.
“This exciting event will allow our members and industry guests to experience the fastest and most advanced lithographic presses, live and in action, and to hear from the experts about this world-leading technology,” Frampton concluded.
