Visual Connections has welcomed back Jenny Harris as events consultant, with the appointment, according to the Association, bringing expertise and continuity to its events team.

According to the Association, Harris is not only an exhibition and events expert, but she is also very familiar with the industry and with Visual Connections’ platforms and events portfolio, having worked with the supplier association for several years before leaving in 2019 to concentrate on other priorities.

Karren Challoner-Miles, executive general manager of Visual Connections, says Harris’ addition to the team will ensure planning for exhibitions and events will continue without missing a beat.

“Even though it seems that PacPrint has only just finished, we are already well into the planning stages for a number of other events and initiatives for the remainder of 2025 and into 2026, so we were keen to move quickly to replace our in-house events resources,” said Challoner-Miles.

“We’re delighted that Jenny is able to rejoin the team in this important transitional stage, bringing not only her extensive expertise, but also providing real continuity for us due to her familiarity with the industry and with our events calendar.

For her part, Harris says she is excited to be back.

“I’ve missed my connections in the industry, and it’s amazing how quickly I’ve slipped back into the swing of Visual Impact and our other events,” she said.

“I’m looking forward to working with the team on some really exciting new initiatives, and to getting back in touch with our members, exhibitors and other industry colleagues. It almost feels like I’ve never been away.”

Harris says the Association has some exciting plans for the 2025/26 year including new content, improved channels to market, as well as exhibitions, conferences, and other events.

“The past six months have seen a lot of changes and challenges at Visual Connections, with a real ‘changing of the guard’, allowing us to step back, evaluate what we deliver to our members and to the industry, and to build on that basis with new ideas, expertise and energy,” Challoner-Miles said.

“Our events team will be central to executing these new initiatives, and we are delighted Jenny has been able to step in to ensure our planning continues without interruption as we look to recruit new talent to the events team later in the year.”

Visual Connections last week announced the 2026 Visual Impact Conference & Expo, which is planned for Sydney in September next year. It is also planning a Golf Day in Sydney in October, as well as its regular Member Meetings, and a new series of Leaders Lunches.
