As the exclusive partner for Nubium, Ball & Doggett is bringing the innovative MIS solution to the ANZ market, offering smaller print businesses the kind of efficiency and automation traditionally reserved for larger enterprises.

Purpose-built by the world’s biggest print software business – ePS has approaching 5000 customers worldwide ranging from small printers to large enterprises with global operations – Nubium brings the benefits of much larger systems down to the smaller, and biggest, part of the market.

It is aimed at printers with turnovers of between $1m and $10m, and who may be operating in diverse fields, including commercial print, sign and display, labels and packaging. “We understand the challenges of managing and scaling a print business. That’s why we’re excited about the opportunities Nubium provides – an easy-to-use, quick-to-implement workflow solution that simplifies production and accounting,” says Rob Brussolo, GM, Sign, Display & Digital at Ball & Doggett. “With Nubium, printers can spend less time on admin and more time growing their business.”

Nubium’s architecture and intuitive tools are designed specifically for small and medium commercial printers who require an MIS with low maintenance and overhead.

According to ePS, as a 100 per cent cloud-native MIS, Nubium enables rapid startup and onboarding, allowing businesses to support a wide range of products and services almost immediately from the start. It says users will be up and running with the browser-based system in a matter of hours, with no investment in IT infrastructure needed.

Dan Vertachnik, CEO of Print ePS commented, “Nubium isn’t just another cloud solution; it’s a game changer specifically designed to cater to the often-overlooked needs of small and medium-sized commercial printers. In addition, Nubium completely revolutionises the implementation process, by eliminating traditional complexities. It is intuitively designed for rapid deployment and immediate value realisation, setting a new standard in the industry.”

Nubium also offers seamless integration with web-to-print eCommerce platforms such as MarketDirect StoreFront, enhancing the overall customer experience by streamlining online order processing and production workflows. The company says the integration is a versatile and essential tool for commercial printers looking to optimise their entire business process, from online orders to financial management.

Key features and benefits of Nubium include advanced estimating: Nubium includes sophisticated tools for precise and efficient quoting and automated machine and process selection. Inventory Management is enabled by comprehensive management of raw materials and finished goods, optimising stock levels and reduces waste.

Nubium has a solutions-based estimating tool, which, says Daniel Aloi, regional director for APAC, will integrate with other systems, naming Xero, Enfocus, Esko Automation, Zapier and Quickbooks as among those programmes.

A key benefit for many smaller printers will be the rapid deployment: Nubium’s cloud-native architecture facilitates quick deployment, enabling businesses to start creating estimates within the first hour of operation. The cloud-based system requires no hardware.

Nubium also has scalability. The cloud-based infrastructure will scale with your business, so enabling printers to have the right tools without significant upfront investment.

“Transitioning to Nubium has been seamless, demonstrating its superior adaptability to our digital printing needs,” said Andrew Tooke, general manager of N2 Group. “The intuitive design has reduced training time, and the cloud-based infrastructure supports remote work effectively, which is crucial in today’s environment.”

The company says it is delivering value through the cloud, by simplifying the whole process, reducing costs, eliminating infrastructure investment, and ensuring printers are always operating with the latest system.

Metro Print & Copy in Perth, a four-person printshop, has already implemented Nubium. Daniel Aloi said, “The owner says he has got two hours a day back, as Nubium is automating so many tasks.”
