The latest issue of Print21 will soon be hitting desks around Australia and New Zealand. As ever, it is packed with industry news and in-depth features, with this issue covering the topics of Inkjet Printing, Packaging Print, and Smart Business.

Hot off the press, Print21 November-December 2025 issue is on its way to you in the mail and now available online for your convenience.

In our Cover Story (page 10), we mark the 175-year milestone for global printing industry pioneer, Heidelberg, which over the years, has combined deep insight into markets and customers with outstanding product quality.

For Inkjet Printing (page 14), we unpack Screen GP’s experience at this year’s Labelexpo Europe in Barcelona, which it claimed to be “the best” to date, and a resounding success for the company.

In our Packaging Print feature, we visit Platypus Print Packaging, which has become Queensland’s largest folding carton manufacturer through passion, investment and efficiency (page 18); Sydney-based Neon Packaging, the first Australian company to install Mimaki’s new UV-DTF printer (page 20); and Currie Group's expansion in the flexible packaging market through exclusive ANZ distribution agreements with Uteco and Bimec (page 22).

In Case Study (page 38) we feature Sydney engraver Elanora Signs & Engraving, looking at how it modernised its operations with help from Canon Production Printing’s Arizona flatbed technology; and Colour Cartel installs a new ROQ NEXT automatic screen printing machine – its second major ROQ investment (page 40).

Then, in Smart Business (page 42), our report on Revolution Print’s StickySheets.com.au shows how a regional printer can turn data, smart workflow design, and close partnerships (with Konica Minolta, Infigo, PrintIQ, Enfocus Switch and Ball & Doggett) into a business that almost runs itself.

Rounding out the issue are our regular sections, where we hear from the major Australian and New Zealand print industry associations, with the Visual Media Association’s Kellie Northwood highlighting how industry has really stepped up in 2025 (page 46); and PrintNZ’s Ruth Cobb reflects on the year that was, and what’s ahead for the NZ print industry in the new year (page 48). For Women in Print, we look back at the association’s landmark year, which saw structural reform, community engagement, and growing voice in the industry (page 44). We also highlight the upcoming industry events to mark on your calendar in What’s On In Print (page 58).

In People in Print: VistaPrint reveals missed opportunity in Aussie SMB branding; IVE Group extends national reach and marketing capabilities (page 50); National Print Awards winners take on London; Ball & Doggett opens Brisbane Experience Hub (page 52); Kwik Copy Australia joins Fortidia in acquisition; HP Indigo scholarship empowers Women in Print (page 54); Print EPS merges with CAI Software (page 55); Roland DG opens new markets with Dimense DA-640; Rawson Print & Packaging expands with IntoPrint acquisition (page 56); Jet Technologies names Andrew Falkam technical account manager; and Adam Todd joins Currie Group as NSW BDM (page 57).

And finally, the Labels21 supplement returns again, and in this issue, Nessan Cleary reviews Labelexpo Europe and charts the technologies, business moves and global trends driving the industry forward (page 26); Jet Technologies celebrates innovation, collaboration and the future of sustainable printing at Labelexpo Europe (page 32); and we profile MCC Label, which is setting the benchmark for developing people and capability across ANZ printing and packaging (page 34).
