Fespa Australia has elected Troy Cavanagh of ImageBox Group as vice-president, following the recent Annual General Meeting.
Cavanagh succeeds David Asker, who stepped down from the role earlier this year. During his tenure, Asker led the work that transformed SGIAA into Fespa Australia, bringing together the branding, marketing collateral, and digital presence underpinning the Fespa Australia Conference and Future Leaders Program.
“I'm pleased to take on this role at an important time for the Association,” said Cavanagh. “There is good work ahead, and I look forward to contributing to it alongside the board and our members.”
Cavanagh was named the inaugural Fespa Future Leader in 2022 and has remained closely involved with the association since. In his role as sales manager at ImageBox Group, he has worked across a broad cross-section of the specialty print and signage sector.
As vice-president, Cavanagh will work alongside the president and fellow directors on the Board's strategic priorities, including the membership growth program now underway, the continued development of the Fespa Leaders Program, and Fespa Australia's representation within the global Fespa network of 37 national associations.
“Troy understands the program from the inside, having graduated from the first Fespa Leaders cohort. He brings a practical perspective and has played an integral role in our conferences and events since then,” said Nigel Davies, president of Fespa Australia.
“With both Bianca Martin of IVE and Troy on our Board, I am proud that the Fespa Leaders program is achieving its goal of fast-tracking leadership talent to where they can bring a fresh perspective to industry initiatives.”
Fespa Australia represents members across the specialty print, signage, and graphics sectors, with a focus on leadership development, industry connection, and access to the global Fespa network.
