Victoria PICAs pushed back four weeks
The Victoria PICA awards gala evening has been rescheduled, with the venue delaying its renovation reopening, causing the print event to change to Friday 6 August.
The PICAs were due to be held 9 July in the Promenade Room at the Marriot in Melbourne’s Docklands. A spokesman said a slight delay means the venue will not reopen until the middle of July.
Registration for the event, and for all the other state PICAs, which are running throughout July, is now open. Click here to go to the registraiton page, then click on the event you want to go in the listing on the right hand side of the page.
Gold winners at each of the state PICAs will all be entered in the National Print Awards, being held during PacPrint in Melbourne, on Thursday 30 September.
Media Super is the platinum sponsor of the PICAs, Currie Group and Ricoh are gold sponsors, Roland DG and Ball & Doggett are silver sponsors, with Orafol and printIQ as bronze sponsors.
The PICA presentations will be at:
SA/NT on Friday 2 July at the National Wine Centre of Australia
NSW on Friday 16 July at Ovolo, Woolloomooloo
Queensland on Friday 23 July at the Tattersalls Club in Brisbane
Perth on Saturday 31 July, at the Crown
Victoria on Friday 6 August at the Marriott Hotel Docklands
Registrations are now open for all five events and further details on the Awards, including how to nominate industry leaders and outstanding businesses for recognition at the National Print Awards, can be found at www.printingawards.com.au.
