The Visual Media Association (VMA) has set Thursday 31 July as the date for its 2025 Annual General Meeting, which will be hosted by industry partner Ricoh Australia at its offices in North Ryde.

VMA says this year’s AGM marks a pivotal event in its calendar, reinforcing the Association's ongoing commitment to transparency, strategic governance, and industry advancement across its financial reporting.

Members, stakeholders, and invited guests will have the opportunity to network following the evening’s formalities.

Kellie Northwood, CEO of the VMA, emphasised the significance of the AGM as more than a statutory obligation, instead characterising it as a moment to celebrate achievements and engage in the future trajectory of the Association and the wider industry.

“Our AGM provides a platform to share the strong financial performance and national program delivery the Association has achieved over the past 12 months,” said Northwood.

“It is also an opportunity for us to collectively assess the strategic focus and governance that will shape our next phase of growth.”

The AGM comes on the back of a strong year for the Association, with ongoing national advocacy, membership growth, and skills and training initiatives rolled out across the sector.

Members will have the opportunity to hear updates on these milestones and engage directly with the Board and executive team on key initiatives planned for the 2025-26 period.

In addition to the formal proceedings, the AGM will offer attendees valuable networking opportunities within an industry-centric environment.

The event will bring together a diverse cross-section of the industry from paper to print, signage to publishing, packaging to mail, design to distribution sectors.

“We are proud to host this important industry event in collaboration with Ricoh Australia, a valued partner and longstanding contributor to our sector,” Northwood added.

“Partnerships like these are essential as we continue to strengthen the Association’s relevance and impact.”

The venue is easily accessible, with North Ryde Metro station a 13-minute walk from the building, and on-site parking available for guests. Attendees are advised to proceed to Level 1 on arrival.
