Finalists for the 41st National Print Awards have been announced by the Visual Media Association (VMA), recognising outstanding work across Australia’s print, packaging, signage and visual communications sector.

Finalists from across the country include, but are not limited to: Bambra, Breen Printing, Cactus Imaging, Carbon8, Eastern Press, Ellikon, IVE Group, Lighthouse Print Group, Press Print, Quality Press, Rawson Print & Packaging, Snap, Spicers, Spot Productions, Styleprint, Sunprint and Taylor'd Press, alongside specialist providers such as MCC Labels, Peacock Bros and QLM Group.

The Awards will be held at the InterContinental Brisbane on Thursday 4 June 2026, bringing together the industry to recognise work across commercial print, digital print, packaging and labels, creative services and specialty categories.

Kellie Northwood, chief executive officer of the VMA, said the finalists represent the depth of capability and creativity across the industry.

“These finalists reflect the strength of work being delivered across print businesses in Australia – from technical excellence through to creativity, innovation and execution,” Northwood said.

“What stands out is not just the quality of the final product, but the thinking, craftsmanship and collaboration that sits behind it.”

Entries were assessed on quality and craftsmanship, creativity and innovation in production, as well as effectiveness and that all important x-factor, with judges focusing on submissions that demonstrated excellence, were well-evidenced and supported by relevant materials including samples, imagery, video and supporting documentation.

Finalists for the major award categories will be announced next week. Winners of selected major categories – Emerging Talent of the Year, Industry Woman of the Year and Industry Employee of the Year – will also take part in an international study tour, travelling to the United Kingdom to attend The Print Show and visit leading printers, suppliers and industry partners.

Northwood said the Awards provide an opportunity to bring the industry together and recognise achievement at all levels.

“The National Print Awards are about recognising the work being delivered across the country and the people who make that happen every day,” she erxplained.

“It is an opportunity to step back, acknowledge that work and celebrate it as an industry.”

The National Print Awards are supported by Platinum Sponsors HP and Currie Group, alongside Gold Sponsors Fujifilm, CMYKHub, Ball & Doggett, Plockmatic Group and Renz, Ricoh Australia, Konica Minolta, Spicers and Spectra, with media partner Print21 supporting the Printer of the Year Award.

Tickets are also available for the Ink & Innovation Masterclass, taking place ahead of the Awards on 4 June and sponsored by CMYKhub, with limited capacity and strong demand.
