VMA OFFERS ACCELERATED ECO ROUTE
The Visual Media Association (VMA) is offering its members an accelerated route to achieve their sustainability goals, through entering a new strategic partnership with business environmental consultants Ecocrave.
The VMA says the new partnership with Ecocrave will support member businesses in navigating their sustainability journey with “greater ease and confidence.”
This new initiative is part of the Association’s ongoing commitment to delivering Better Business Tools and practical solutions to the print, paper, packaging, and media sectors.
Through this partnership, VMA members will gain access to Ecocrave’s expert consulting services, including a free introductory session which is designed to identify sustainability gaps, and chart a clear path toward achieving Sustainable Green Print (SGP) certification, across Levels 1 to 3 and beyond.
Kellie Northwood, CEO of the VMA said, “Sustainability is no longer a trend - it’s an imperative for business success. Our partnership with Ecocrave brings a new level of support for our members, ensuring they can confidently align their practices with industry and community expectations, while unlocking opportunities for operational efficiency and brand growth.”
According to the VMA, Ecocrave brings “a wealth” of experience in helping Australian businesses reduce their environmental impact, while implementing eco-friendly practices that are practical, cost effective, and aligned to commercial goals. For members of VMA, this translates into a streamlined approach to meeting certification standards and positioning their businesses as sustainability leaders in the industry.
Kane Annesley, founder of Ecocrave, said, “Growing up in a family of printers, I have seen first-hand the challenges and opportunities sustainability presents to the industry. Our approach is about equipping businesses with strategies that work - not just for the environment, but also for long-term profitability.
“We are thrilled to partner with the VMA, and look forward to supporting their members with actionable insights and guidance.”
To further educate and engage the industry, Annesley will headline an upcoming Power of Print (PoP) webinar titled, “The Business Case for Sustainable Solutions in Print.” This free event will explore how sustainable practices can reduce costs, enhance brand reputation, and drive new business opportunities.
Attendees will benefit from myth-busting, real-world case studies, and proven strategies that demonstrate sustainability can be implemented without breaking the bank.
In addition to the new sustainability partnership, the VMA reminds members of its broader Better Business Tools offering. Accessible via the VMA Member Lounge, these tools include comprehensive business resources and exclusive member discounts across areas such as sales training, insurance, financial management, and operational reviews.
“Our Better Business Tools are designed to provide real value to our members’ bottom lines,” said Northwood. “From sustainability initiatives like Ecocrave to financial health checks and workforce development, we’re ensuring our members are future ready.”
VMA encourages all members to log in to the Member Lounge to explore these benefits. Non-members interested in gaining access to these exclusive resources, including the Ecocrave offer, are invited to contact hello@visualmediaassociation.org.au for more information.
