Women in Print Alliance is spotlighting women working across the printing industry during Women’s History Month through a series of podcast episodes, industry content and community activities.
Content featuring women in the sector will be shared across Women in Print Alliance and PRINTING United Alliance channels, along with the organisations’ media brands. This includes 22 episodes of the Her Imprint podcast, presented by Women in Print Alliance, which focuses on women working in the print industry.
Lisbeth Lyons Black, director, Women in Print Alliance, said the initiative aims to highlight women’s contributions to the sector.
“Women in print are doing more than preserving history and tradition in print, they're reimagining it,” she said.
“Across our industry, women are leading the charge to create an industry that is sustainable and resilient. Whether their roles are environmental, educational, or economic, they're celebrating the past while also laying the groundwork for a thriving, viable and, yes, more inclusive – industry, and building a better tomorrow for print.”
Women in Print Alliance also offers individual and corporate memberships providing access to professional development opportunities, including webinars, virtual workshops, book discussions and member meet-ups.
Additional initiatives planned for 2026 include regional meet-ups in select cities, a programme ahead of the organisation’s Fly-In event in Washington, D.C., new community forums, and the annual Women in Print Luncheon at PRINTING United Expo in Las Vegas on 24 September. The luncheon will feature keynote speaker Corrie Lo presenting “The Five Overwhelm Culprits”.
Women in Print Alliance operates as part of PRINTING United Alliance and focuses on supporting women in the printing industry through advocacy, education and community programmes.
