Now that Australians are able to get together again in person, the Lithographic Institute of Australia (LIA) is planning an industry gathering at the Carnarvon Golf Club in Lidcombe, NSW, on Wednesday 21 April.

The dinner, which will feature a pub-style menu of schnitzel, fish, chips and steaks – as well as a highly-rated vegetable curry – will be an informal affair, designed simply to provide an opportunity to catch up and reconnect, and will also feature a short update on the Penrith Museum of Print.

Organisers say the event is open to individuals from all sectors of the industry. As well as members of the LIA and Visual Connections, which is supporting the event, it’s expected to attract members from a wide range of industry associations including Press Gang, Fespa, Old Friends Association, PVCA, Penrith Print Museum, and Women in Print, among others. Print21 will also be there.

Mel Ireland from the LIA says it’s a welcome opportunity to meet up with industry friends and associates, saying, "After the non-events of the past year, it will be great to reunite with our industry colleagues over a meal and a few drinks.

“We know that people are keen to get together now that restrictions are lifting, and this will be the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy catching up on all the news while reconnecting with our industry peers.”

Bookings for the dinner close at 5pm on Friday 16 April 2021. Tickets are just $30 and can be purchased by clicking here.
