Headquartered in Hong Kong, with a strong presence in the Asia Pacific region, Smartech’s plans for continual expansion and further capital investment have been accelerated by the acquisition of Quadient Oceania.

Smartech has been a Quadient dealer in much of Asia, so is familiar with the Quadient portfolio, which in Australia includes wide format printers from Canon, Epson and HP, finishing solutions from Duplo, and a host of mailroom products.

Smartech says it is now on track to significantly expanding its footprint in Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific. Vincent Nair, president and CEO of Smartech Business Systems said, “Quadient Oceania has an outstanding range of technology solutions supporting the graphics industries, which blends perfectly with Smartech’s strong regional business model. We look forward to supporting the local graphics market within Australia and further building on the excellent customer partnerships within Australia and New Zealand.”

Nair said, “During this period of transition, we would like to ensure all our customers that our primary goal is continuity of service to you all. While the name may be changing, you can be assured that we remain committed to ensuring you receive the same great service, support and product that you have come to expect from the Quadient brand.”
