About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-focused Guillotine Operator/Bindery Tradesman to join our team full-time at XPS Group Media, located in Ingleburn. As our workload continues to grow, we require someone who’s ready to jump in, take pride in their work, and help us deliver exceptional print finishes for our clients.
What You’ll Do
- Operate and maintain a guillotine cutter for trimming printed materials
- Assist with bindery and finishing tasks (example, folding, cello glazing, padding, collating
- Read job bags carefully and follow production instructions to ensure each job is completed accurately and on time
- Monitor quality and consistency of finished products
- Safely handle and move paper and materials as needed
- Keep your workspace clean, organized and running smoothly
- Collaborate with our close-knit team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently
About You
- You have experience operating guillotine or bindery machinery
- You’re confident working with measurements and have a good eye for precision
- You take pride in producing high-quality, finished products
- You’re reliable, self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Bonus Skills (Not Essential)
- Experience with Polar guillotines or Horizon Bindery equipment
- Forklift License
- Mechanical aptitude or previous experience with machine maintenance
- Familiarity with print or signage production environments
