Avery Dennison will present a series of new labelling materials and technologies at Labelexpo Europe 2025, with a focus on packaging reuse, recycling and product protection.

The company will showcase an expanded AD CleanGlass portfolio, including a new white film option developed for reusable glass packaging. Both white and clear versions are designed to wash off easily in a conventional bottle washer at 80°C, supporting brand reuse targets.

Also on display will be AD CleanFiber, described as the first INGEDE12-certified paper label range using a new adhesive technology that cleanly separates during the recycling process, delivering higher quality pulp for cardboard and paper production.

In its premium lines, Avery Dennison will debut the Infinity Collection, a label portfolio designed to support complex die-cutting and finishing while maintaining reliable performance. The Sensorial Collection is being extended with materials such as Leatherlike Black, Limestone and rWood Skin, while the Sustainable Collection now includes Lin Fibre alongside Hemp Fibre and Cane Fibre.

For the automotive and durable goods sectors, Avery Dennison is introducing PET labels with chemically recycled content, developed to meet original equipment manufacturer requirements. These can incorporate features such as flame retardancy for electric vehicle batteries, and can be combined with RFID technology to support traceability.

In pharmaceuticals, the company will present a UV Barrier film label range that protects medicines sensitive to UV light while maintaining transparency. Avery Dennison says the clear labels allow healthcare professionals to visually check contents without compromising protection.

Mariana Rodriguez, vice president and general manager, materials group EMENA at Avery Dennison, said, “Labelexpo 2025 will be a major showcase of innovation, and we can’t wait for customers to see it in person. Avery Dennison has been pioneering the labelling and packaging sector for 90 years, and in Barcelona we will demonstrate how we are helping to address key challenges across industries including consumer packaged goods, retail, automotive and pharmaceuticals.”
